1926 NS/Pennsy New Brighton Bridge over Beaver River at Beaver Falls, PA

  1. The eastern approach to the bridge, where the Youngstown and Fort Wayne lines join contains a semi-typical PRR flyover. It is much more spread out than most, so the rising tracks are on sloped fills, rather than more compact concrete trestles or walls, with the only concrete section being relatively short retaining walls and the tunnel where the Youngstown line ducks under Fort Wayne Track 2.
