Tim Eaker posted again along with an image of a 10-cent bond for the Illinois river Railroad Co.

Bille Marcum posted six photos with the comment: "Pekin, Illinois. Some photos from a roofing project  we completed in 2022."
Dan Kalfas: Climbing to grease the counterweight wheels at the top of the towers I encountered a wasp nest. I seriously thought of jumping into river. Wound up climbing up to tower platform with wasps stinging me the whole way up. That was a bad day. 😦
Bille Marcum: Dan Kalfas we battled what seemed like 1,000,000 wasps during this project.
Dan Kalfas: Spent a lot of time working on that bridge. I remember when Tracy Templleton fell of and bounced on the ice below, around 35 foot, then the railroad starved him out on his disability claim. He did get his claim after several years. This was in early 1980s.
Scott Wenger: I grew up half a mile away. Before it was automated, it was manned 24/7. I knew one of the workers. Used to visit up there often.
