2009 Golden Ears Extradosed Bridge over Fraser River in Vancouver Metro Area

I first noticed the golden cylinders.  Then I noticed the two birds at the top of the first tower. There are four, relatively short, towers on this bridge. I thought maybe it was an extradosed bridge like the Mississippi River bridge at Sillwater, MN. In fact, it is called the "longest extradosed bridge in North America." [sefindia]

The 970m [0.6 mile] long cable-stayed Golden Ears Bridge crossing the Fraser River in Vancouver, Canada, is the core element of a six-lane, highway project near the Canadian west coast.
