My Michigan City, Indiana posted four photos with the comment: "Did you know the George Washington Bicentennial Bridge has gone through several changes over the years? It was once a wooden lift bridge, replaced, destroyed by a steamer collision in 1910, and has been replaced twice since then. You can find these fun facts and photos at the Michigan City Public Library."
