1989 Bridge
The old piers just to the left of the new piers were for a
truss bridge that provided a service road to the
Old Dominion Iron & Nail Works that was on Belle Island.
Belle Isle Suspension Bridge
In 1991, they hung a pedestrian bridge from the main bridge.
