Green Mountain's roundhouse and yard are just north of this bridge.
To the left of the control house remnant we can see the bottom of the vertical member that held the counterweight.
I grabbed this one originally because I thought Green Mountain was a tourist railroad. This photo shows that someone is running freight on this Rutland route. I also wanted to catch the remnants of the tower. And then I saw the counterweight laying on the shore of the canal!
