North Bridge: (
Satellite, I think trees are growing on the bridge.)
Ray Ward
posted six photos with the comment: "I found these two bridges on a dead-end road in Brownsville, Pennsylvania a few days ago. Anybody know the deal?"
Daniel Pavick: This is the Monongahela’s Dunlap Creek branch. Went from Union Station in Brownsville to Huron, PA with many mines and Coke ovens along the route.

Leaving Brownsville, the railroad crossed Dunlap Creek four times. I think the bridges are at the second and fourth crossing. The
third crossing does not have a bridge.

I believe these are remnants of the abutments of the overpass over Jackson Street between the second and third crossing of Dunlap Creek.
And I think this view is from the
dead end that Ray mentioned. But the angle of the arch is not correct for the Monongahela Bridge. So I wonder what this white thing was.
