I've seen this photo on the internet many times, but this is the first time I have seen some location information. Hurricane Irene was in late August 2011.

We have a choice of the bridge over Williams Middle Branch or the one further south over Williams River.

The southern bridge had two spans with skewed trusses. One of which has been replaced by a steel girder bridge.

So I'm going for the bridge over the Williams Middle Branch. Note that the truss span has been replaced by a girder span.

There is a BridgeHunter post for the southern bridge: "GMRC - Williams River Bridge No. 114."
It specifies the history as: "Built 1899; Undermined by flooding from Hurricane Irene, Repaired."

2011 is recent enough that it is worth checking out Google Earth. It indeed had two trusses.

It kinda looks like they had a girder span just a few months after the huricane.

They definitely had one by 2014.

The northern bridge has the same progression: fuzzy truss, fuzzy girder and distinct girder.
