It is time we featured Winona, Arizona, along Route 66, with its beautiful view of the San Francisco Peaks.  Here is a "then, later, & now" of the Winona Trading Post and Texaco service station along old Route 66 in Winona, with two postcards showing its changes over time and a Google 'now' image. Winona was never really a town, but it gained a lot of notoriety for rhyming with Arizona in the famous song, "Route 66," originally sung by Nat King Cole, with words & lyrics by Bobby Troup.  That verse:
Now you go through Saint Looey
      Joplin, Missouri,
And Oklahoma City is mighty pretty.
      You see Amarillo,
      Gallup, New Mexico,
      Flagstaff, Arizona.
      Don't forget Winona,
      Kingman, Barstow, San Bernardino
