I believe I found Jim's
source of pictures. I include this photo because it indicates the brown building in the middle of the above photo is a Rock Island Lines facility. The new, straight river channel is in this view. Because of the height of the RI building and the enclosure along the top, I assume it is grain storage. Reading Jim's "Bridges" label and
Medusa-Challenger Strikes Again goes on my todo list.
