Harrison Steel Castings/National Car Coupler in Attica, IN

Not only does Jeffrey provide some interesting railroad history, I'm always glad to see a steel plant still working in the 21st century in the rust belt.

National Car Coupler Company in Attica, Indiana, now Harrison Steel Castings Company. The railroad at the time this picture was taken was the Chicago and Eastern Illinois, then Chicago Attica and Southern 1922-1946, Wabash 1946-1964, then N&W, and now Norfolk Southern.

NS RR spur through Attica, Indiana at Harrison Steel Castings Co., 2016.
New ties for the NS RR spur in Attica, Indiana, 2016. At the first of January 2016 seven cars of corn derailed between Jackson and Mill Streets so improvements were made to the entire length of the spur to accommodate the increased traffic from the grain facility on the south edge of town.
