The Walsh Group posted three photos with the comment: "Equipment is arriving for Walsh Construction’s Phase 1 work for The Battery Coastal Resilience Project, part of the overall Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency Project in New York City! Walsh is responsible for the demolition and replacement of the approximate 1500-foot-long wharf promenade on the Manhattan waterfront, as well as the demolition and replacement of the bridge structure over the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel. The wharf structure will incorporate resilient and sustainable features to protect The Battery from rising sea levels and flooding over the next 80 years."
