Bridge: (Satellite)
Telescope: (Satellite, 56 photos)

Highest Bridges, this webpage has a lot of construction photos
1,001 feet high / 305 meters high
1,804 foot span / 550 meter span
2019
The height of the towers is 332m (1089'), 320m (1050') and 298m (978'). The deck is 305m (1000') above normal river level.

As is rather typical in China, one end of the bridge is at a tunnel.

This is how the "Pingtang" bridge was built, which has the largest concrete tower in the world, in Guizhou, China 🇨🇳... It is about 2,135 meters long and crosses through a canyon, making it an important connection point for the Pingtang-Luodian highway. The construction of the work had a total cost of 1.5 billion yuan (about 215 million dollars). The commissioning of the bridge will reduce the travel time between Pingtang and Luodian from more than two and a half hours to about one hour. The new infrastructure will help reduce poverty in the rocky and desertified areas of Guizhou and neighboring Yunnan province, as well as in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region...

Pingtang Radio Telescope

Highest Bridge, this webpage also has some construction photos of this telescope
The Pingtang Radio Telescope was completed in 2016 as the largest of its type in the world with a spherical dish 500 meters in diameter. Built within a natural depression surrounded by mountains, the primary reflector focuses radio waves from space on a receiver hanging 140 meters above the center. There are 4,450 aluminum triangular panels 11 meters on each side. A cable robot suspended from 6 towers uses winches to change the position of the receiving antenna.
