Illinois Northern over West Fork of South Branch

Scott Griffith posted
David Daruszka The Illinois Northern bridge over the South Branch at the McCormick Reaper Works (South Works). The McCormick Station was the freight office.
The West Fork was filled in after the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal was built. In this 1938 photo, I put a red box around where I think the bridge was. Then I zoomed into that area and got reminded that the resolution from an airplane in 1938 was not as good as the resolution from a satellite is today.
