Turning Old Tires into Diesel Fuel

I learned years ago that the vulcanization process that makes rubber useful is not reversible. That is, tires can't be recycled to make new tires. And they have problems burning (e.g. toxic). So the world has been filling up with big landfills of tires. This video indicates that someone has figured out how to extract fuel for turbo-charged diesel engines and to recycle the remaining steel and carbon.
