The western part of the Pennsy Panhandle was built by the Chicago & Great Eastern.

This tower gained control of the Air Line Junction when its tower was closed in 1950. In 1967, the tower at Maynard was closed because control was remoted from Hartsdale. [Larry Amaloo comment in Facebook.]

Maynard was a fairly simple interlocking.
Dennis DeBruler It does confirm that, at least for Pennsy, the junction of Pennsy and Monon was called Air Line Junction. I've seen some confusion as to where the Air Line Junction was.
