South Elgin Dam in Fox River

Unfortunately, no one is maintaining the trail. A big tree limb fill on the trail and you could see bicycle tire tracks in the mud next to the trail.
Note that the water drop is not as far in this photo as it is in a Google Photo. As I explained in the Carpentersville Dam, I was taking pictures on a day when the Fox River had a heavy flow. The water is more turbulent away from the dam and the rolling boil is not near as well formed as it is in the referenced Google Photo.

The water continued to churn quite a distance downstream.

I took short videos to capture the sound and turbulence from the side and from a little bit downstream:
