I don't normally note short, steel-girder railroad bridges, but I was curious about the St. Joe River since it provides the drinking water for my hometown, Fort Wayne, IN. I'm glad I looked for this bridge along the river because that is how I found the above covered bridge. Also, it would be hard to get a photo of this bridge without a drone.

The year of the flood.   Look at the water level!! 

I remember this day like it was yesterday.  Walked down with my dad and he snapped this picture of me.  

Need help with exact year?   1982 ???
