US-2 over Ebey Island and Snohomish River at Everett, WA

(Satellite)

On the same day that I saw this bridge, I also saw an example of a logjam taking out a bridge.

Once again, I'm reminded that scientists predicted in the 1980s that the weather would be more extreme in the 2020s because of climate warming. I've recently seen several videos and photos of record flooding in Washington State. I pursued this one because of the bridge.

Because of the buildings in the background in the video, I determined thatwe are near the east side of the trestle looking West. I did a lot of poking around with street view before I found this one. This road is buried under the logs in the above screenshot. And the "tubes" in the upper-left corner of that screenshot are three pipelines. Looking at a satellite image, I don't see the double bend that we see in the screenshot. Has the river shoved the middle part of the pipelines toward the trestle? I wonder what those pipelines normally carry.

I came across another reel.
