Douglas Butler posted, cropped Unknown source River Terminal Scherzer Rolling Lift Bridge designed by the Scherzer Rolling Lift Bridge Co was constructed in 1913 by the Corrigan McKinney & Co. There's actually a bottle [railcar] at the bottom somewhere. Timothy Jordan: 9 bottle fell into the river early 70’s still there. Thomas Munroe: I was working there when they lost a bottle car in the river . They put a resentment wall around it so it wouldn’t move into the channel. |
