"The main part of the bridge that actually crosses the water is 423 metres....It’s also the first cable-stayed bridge to span over 400 metres in China....After the bridge opened to the public, between 14K to 17K vehicles started crossing it every single day. By the time it hit 2006, that number increased to over 120K vehicles per day....If you look at it from the top, the circular area, combined with the span of the bridge looks like a dragon lying across the river. The total length of this dragon is a whopping 8,346 metres."
