Chattooga County Historical Society posted six images with the comment: "After seeing the article on WZQZ this morning about the Trion bridge, I wanted to post some things about its construction. About 30 years ago they were throwing old documents from the courthouse into a dump truck to be hauled to the dump. several historical society members rescued some and are now in the Georgia Archives. BELOW is the letter from the grand jury in 1897 recommending the bridge, the contract to build and the schematic drawings."
