US-64 Bridges over Tennessee River at Savannah, TN

According to most comments, the truss bridge was blown up in the summer of 1980.

Pickwick Lock posted three photos with the comment: "Blast From The Past. Demolition of the old Savannah, TN bridge. Does anyone know the exact date of the demolition of the old bridge? And the dedication date of the new bridge? 📸 Courtesy of Top O The River in Michie, TN."
Danny Glynn Sanderson: It did not work, my late brother was working in Savannah and watched. It just sat there. They had to go in with torches. They built things to stay in those days.

The firth photo shows how deep the steel girders are because the semi and RV provide some scale.
