(no Bridge Hunter and I looked in both states; no Historic Bridges;

I can't believe that Bridge Hunter doesn't have an entry for this bridge.
It is pin connected.
This is even more obviously a pin connection.
This was the post that taught me about this bridge. I thought the river level was rather high. But photos of the bridge, including the above, taught me that the river is always rather high under this bridge.
The river has a big flood plain, but it has been channelized in Indiana.
Update:
Abandoned by Sherman Cahal
posted six photos with the comment:
The #abandoned State Line Bridge on the #Indiana-#Illinois border is scheduled to be dismantled this year after remaining closed to traffic for decades.
Built around 1900, the bridge originally spanned the Kankakee River near Sun River Terrace. It was moved to its present location between Lake and Newton counties in 1924. The bridge was closed to traffic in 1999 because of its deteriorating condition and the constant maintenance required to remove debris that collects against it, as the span sat only a few feet above the water due to silt buildup and improper channelization.
