2002 VA-895 Pocahontas Parkway Bridge over James River south of Richmond, VA

(no Bridge Hunter; Satellite) The official name is Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge.

It was built to interstate standards, but it was not allowed to use the I-895 designation because it is a toll road.

It was a financial failure as a toll road because the expected housing developments did not happen because of the 2008 recession.

The 672' (205m) long bridge is high enough to allow oceangoing container ships to access the Port of Richmond. The highway is supposed to be haunted.
