Lock #50: (
Satellite, the lock is gone, but the trail is on the canal's RoW to the East.)

Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct in Camillus.
Built in 1842 as part of the Enlargement of the Erie Canal, this crossing replaced the Clinton's Ditch Aqueduct. This is a very special Aqueduct, the only fully restored in the state, complete with a full wooden trunk. The width is 49 feet and is 144 feet long.
Special thanks to all of the people who worked so hard to make Dreams come true.

You can take a 45-minute ride on the canal that includes traversing the aqueduct. It is the only boat ride that is available on the Enlarged Erie Canal.

ErieCanalCamillus_aqueduct "This 144 foot waterway is listed as the smallest of the larger aqueducts. Four stone arches made of fine Onondaga limestone quarried from Split Rock supported the towpath. Of the 32 original aqueducts on the First Enlargement, only about seven remain intact."Downstream from the present First Enlargement Aqueduct, can be found the remains of the 1820 Clinton’s Ditch Aqueduct with an adjacent lock. Two stone arches supported the 120 foot water bridge. This area has been cleared and kiosks interpret the site."

Lock #50

| Photo via ErieCanal, this webpage has a lot of photos of the current lock ruins |
This is a painting on a wall in the Sims Store Museum.
I'm surprised that Lock #50 is not marked. Normally, they put a "V" on the canal's blue line where a lock is located. Note that the town was on a spur that went south of the canal.
