Looks like the heavy rains took their toll on the dam at lock 16.
[This is Sep 2026. A comment indicates that they just built the dam in Summer 2026. The bulldozer has been there since they built the dam, not because the state plans to repair the dam. I don't know why they built the dam in the first place.]
Devon Hall: At what point did they think a dirt berm and a few culvert was going to be enough to redirect the canal? They didn’t even put any back fill behind it they made a dirt berm across and said yeah that should hold |
