Trail/PC/NYC/LS&MS 1894 Hopewell Bridge over Grand River in Wyoming, MI

(Bridge Hunter, Historic BridgesSatellite (11 photos))

This view is so old, it still has tracks on it. You can clearly see the swing span. The Google 3D software could not handle a side view of this bridge. But the eleven photos associated with the Satellite link show how it looks after it has been converted to a trail.

Tom Carter posted photos from 1977 and 2017, but they are in a closed group so I don't know if you can see them.

"This swing bridge ceased to swing in 1907 when boats stopped traveling the Grand River. The bridge carried trains up until 1975." [Historic Bridges]
