A map of the county
This covered bridge in Bridgeton is the one that is featured in most of the documentation of the
31 covered bridges. The building on the left is the
Bridgeton Mill, which has several more photos that include the bridge.
This covered bridge was first built in 1868. It was bypassed in 1967, refurbished in 1988-89 and built again in 2006 because of arson on Apr 28, 2005. It has two Burr-arch spans. The 225' long and 9' high dam was built in the 1910s. [

Gayle Dworak Navin posted Bridgeton covered bridge and mill in Parke County Indiana. It is a beauty! |
9:28 drone video of the area. I pushed the slider through much of it until I got to
here, which is where it flew through the bridge.
