Marty Bernard posted three photos with the comment: "C&O 7602 Exits Fort Springs Tunnel
Roger Puta captured this sequence at Fort Springs Tunnel in Greenbrier County, West Virginia in October 1981. These really look good full screen."

The tunnel is nothing special. C&O had a lot of them in West Virginia. In fact there are tunnels just a few hundred feet to the West and a few hundred feet to the East. But the Chessie Cat livery is worth saving an least once in this blog.
When taking pix of railway tunnels, railfans would always like to know if the portal shown in any pic is an east portal or a west portal. Apparently, this pic shows a portion of the east portal of the Fort Spring C&O tunnel.
