Street View According to the satellite view, there are trusses hidden by the trees on both sidess so this was a five truss bridge. |
Bridges & Tunnels posted This five-span Warren through truss carries CSX over the Scioto River southeast of Chillicothe, Ohio. The Marietta & Cincinnati Railroad constructed a bridge over the river circa 1857. Some of the largest storms on record at the time caused the bridge to collapse in March 1913, and Marietta & Cincinnati’s successor, the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, built a new five-span Warren through truss structure in its place. ▶︎ Check out more photos of this crossing at http://bridgestunnels.com/location/schrader-railroad-bridge/ |
