The truss bridge was a railroad bridge to support the construction of the Gorge Powerhouse, and it is now a private service road and holds a pedestrian bridge. The suspension bridge was built as a pedestrian bridge to provide construction workes with access to the powerhouse site. Both are now part of a trail system and they allow the public to access the visitor center of the powerhouse.

This is the most detail that I've seen of the truss bridge, but I still can't verify that it is pin-connected.

This suspension bridge was originally built in the 1920's to give workers access to the Gorge Powerhouse on the Skagit River. It has been rebuilt several times and now provides access to the Ladder Creek Falls trail.

The bridge towers also serve as powerline towers.
