I found the Russki-Brücke Bridge while looking for this bridge.

I had assumed the longer cables in the Russki-Brücke Bridge look different because they are bigger and not just because they are painted white.

Nope. It is because the longer ones are painted white, the middle ones are painted blue and the shorter ones are painted red. The cables appear to be of the same size. I never noticed before that the Russia flag uses the same colors as the American flag. But it is white, blue and red instead of red, white and blue.

The backstays are over land so that the towers can be on the shores.
