Located in downtown Georgetown, this is Kentucky's oldest bridge, constructed in 1789—back when Kentucky was still officially part of Virginia until it gained statehood in June 1792. Built using a dry-stacking technique with no mortar, this historic structure stands as a remarkable example of early engineering. Pict by : Kentucky travels |
This must be the south face.

The spring just south of the bridge is the water source for the town.
