John Pavlica Jr.: 1909, when Toledo was the biggest growing city in the USA, due to railroads, glass, and natural gas. |

Orders for trains were to run “direction A” counter (clockwise), or “direction B” ( counter clockwise), rather than East or west ( or north or south, to various points on the line. The trains did not run in circles. |
