1 of 3 photos posted by Bridges & Tunnels In a time when truss bridges are becoming increasingly scarce, it is encouraging to observe the state of Kentucky's dedication to preserving some of its historic bridges when feasible. The White Mills Bridge, constructed in 1899 by the Champion Bridge Company, spans the Nolin River in White Mills and is a part of KY Route 1866. Prior to the completion of a new alignment around the town in 1964, the bridge served as a component of KY Route 84. ➤ Check out more photos of the White Mills Bridge at http://bridgestunnels.com/location/white-mills-bridge/ |
