1936,1992,2014 Cordell Hull Bridge over Cumberland River at Carthage, TN

(Bridge Hunter; no Historic Bridges; Satellite)

Street View, May 2022

"This bridge is an extremely unusual bridge. It has a design that is similar to the arch cantilever design where a deck truss transitions into a through truss, but this bridge doesn't appear to have a cantilever because the thru truss span has the typical Tennessee hybrid K/Parker truss design." Jun 8, 2022. I came across this while researching dams, and it is the motivation of these notes. Even though it was closed for rehabilitation in 2014, BridgeHunter reports that it was "Poor" as of a Jun 2018 inspection report.
