Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) and Track Warrant Control

A BNSF video explains track warrant control as well as CTC. I understood how CTC works, but I've always wondered about the details of Track Warrants. Basically, Track Warrant Control is like the old Train Order Control except they use radios instead of paper to give the instructions to the train crew. Using radios eliminates all of the track-side labor such as depot agents and tower operators that were needed to hoop train orders to the engineer and conductor of a train.
