BNSF/CB&Q Bridge over Platte River near Grand Island, NE

(no Bridge Hunter?, Satellite)
Kevin Piper posted
BNSF 6241 leads a westbound empty coal train across the original single track Platte River bridge east of Grand Island, NE, on 12-6-08.
This is the BNSF route that goes to the Powder River Basin of low-sulfur coal in Wyoming. Did they add the second bridge just in time for the coal market to collapse thanks to fracking making natural gas cheap?

Just learned that coal is recovering: Powder River Basin coal production up 7.2% in 2017: MSHA
